Waiting Times and Background Optimisation - Release 2.1.7 Notes

Platform release 2.1.7 went live on the 11th of December. This release had a major update to how the optimiser handles scenarios with lots of Jobs (500+) and added waiting time graphics to the timeline.

Waiting time in the Tarot Routing Timeline

New Features

  • Post+Polling Optimisation via Websockets: Improved communication during optimisation processes for enhanced reliability.

  • Bulk Update Jobs: Easily update multiple jobs simultaneously for better efficiency.

  • Unit Proof Modal: View the latest Load Proof and Deliver Proof for improved job tracking.

  • Improved UX for "Copy" or "Move" Job/Unit to Pool: Simplifies workflow when managing jobs or units.

  • Waiting Times & Lunch Breaks from the Optimiser: Gain deeper insights into scheduling and break calculations.

Improvements

  • Job Pool Management: Enhanced drag-and-drop modals for a more user-friendly experience.

  • Admin Panel Enhancements: Better handling of Default Driver User and Default Vehicle fields.

  • Timeline UX: Improved display of lunch break times.

  • Admin Panel Exports: Significantly faster page load times.

  • Bulk Driver Update: Auto-fill time fields for quicker edits.

  • Background Optimisation: Renamed optimisation polling to improve clarity.

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved 'Runs provided did not correspond to a valid solution' error.

  • Fixed Timeline Lunch Breaks display, including edge cases with pooled jobs.

  • Addressed "not a valid time" error during bulk job creation.

  • Resolved issue with job attachments not copying to the pool.

  • Fixed duplicated job data in progress reports (e.g., missing customer emails).

  • Corrected long scenario name display in Live/Customer Views for territory groups.

  • Fixed handling of soft deletion for Billing Rates.

  • Resolved "Default Driver User Surname shows null" issue in Admin Panel.

  • Fixed empty opening time fields during bulk driver updates.

  • Addressed ETA issues reported by clients.

  • Resolved issue where the dragged job modal was not displayed on the map.

  • Fixed visual glitch causing black space above the Drivers Panel header after scrolling.

  • Corrected invalid chunks causing errors.

  • Fixed Live Overview scenario calendar to ensure selected scenarios are properly set as active.
