The Tarot Driver App is the field component of Tarot Routing. It gives your drivers everything they need to work through their run — scanning, proof of delivery, navigation, two-way communication with planners, and customisable vehicle checklists — all on the device already in their pocket. No proprietary hardware. No expensive scanners. No IT headaches getting drivers set up before they hit the road.
Works on Any iOS or Android Smartphone
Your drivers don't need a company-issued device to use Tarot. The Driver App runs on any standard iOS or Android smartphone — no proprietary hardware, no expensive scanners, no special equipment to procure or manage.
The Tarot Driver App was built to comply with GDPR and equivalent data privacy legislation. Location tracking only occurs while a driver has a runsheet loaded — the moment the run is complete and the runsheet is closed, tracking stops. Your drivers' movements outside of work hours stay private.
Works Offline — Everywhere You Deliver
Unreliable mobile coverage shouldn't mean missing delivery records. The Tarot Driver App works fully offline. Drivers can scan parcels, capture proof of delivery and complete their run whether they're in a basement carpark, a remote rural area, or anywhere else coverage drops out.
Delivery data is stored on the device and syncs automatically when the phone is back in range. Nothing is lost. Nothing needs to be re-entered.
Barcode Scanning and Proof of Delivery
Drivers scan parcels at load and at delivery — at item, box or container level. Photo capture and customer signature are recorded on the same device. Every proof of delivery record is timestamped, geotagged and stored against the delivery record in Tarot.
For operations without barcoded stock, the Driver App also supports a checklist mode — drivers work through a list of items to confirm delivery, ticking off each one rather than scanning.
Navigation and Real-Time Planner Communication
The Tarot Driver App integrates with your drivers' preferred navigation app — Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps. It doesn't replace navigation; it puts the next stop, job details and communication tools alongside whichever nav app your drivers prefer.
Drivers and planners communicate in real time through the app. No driver group chats. No phone calls to find out where someone is or whether a delivery was made.
No Logins, No Passwords, No Accounts to Manage
Driver turnover is a reality in last-mile logistics. Managing driver accounts and passwords across a rotating workforce wastes time and creates support overhead.
Tarot dispatches runs to drivers via QR code, or by sending the driver a link via email or SMS. Drivers open the link on their phone and their run is immediately available — no username, no password, no account required. When a driver leaves and a new one joins, there's nothing to set up and nothing to revoke.
Customisable Vehicle and Safety Checklists
Pre-departure and post-run checklists are built into the Driver App and fully customisable to your operation. Your team builds the checklist that matters for your fleet — vehicle safety, cold chain compliance, load checks, or any other operational requirement — and drivers complete it on their device before leaving the depot.
Responses are logged against the run. Your operations team can see completions in real time, not at the end of the week when the paper forms come back in.
